tiga bulan lebih, blog ini sepi posting. ada apa gerangan? sibuk? ah, itu alasan basi. bilang saja malas.
ya. jujur saja. saya terjebak. terjebak apa? sebagai wong ndeso, mestinya saya tenang-tenang saja di kampung. tapi, nyatanya saya harus cawe-cawe ngurusi negara ppi belanda, dan didapuk sebagai opisboi radio ppi dunia. jadinya saya terjebak dengan keriuhan urusan-urusan itu. apalagi, makhluk bernama tesis itu tak henti-hentinya mengejar dan membuat diriku tak berkutik.
di luar itu, ada urusan dalam negeri, dengan kedatangan ibu negara ke belanda. maafkan saya, bu. saya tidak bisa menjadi bapak negara yang baik. tak bisa menemani ibu negara jalan-jalan keliling belanda.
jalan-jalan ke paris selama seminggu (6-13 juni 2009), cukup kan? ibu bilang, paris adalah dreamland. tapi, jalan denganku, kita malahan jadi turis buta: tanpa modal peta. hanya insting. akhirnya kita tersesat, tak tahu kemana dan dimana. cari-cari alamat hostel jalan kaki lebih dari satu jam, sambil menggendong ransel cukup berat (ingat lagunya mbah surip, tak gendong!). akhirnya, badan jadi remuk redam. tapi saya senang, melihat ibu jingkrak-jingkrak, joget-joget, tertawa ceria, ketika kita tiba-tiba melihat eiffel di depan mata.
sekarang saya sedikit bisa bernafas. tesis ‘internet for participatory democracy’ itu nyaris selesai. tadi pagi, saya submit final draft. senin ini ketemu supervisor. saya tahu, pak supervisor masih bakal punya bahan untuk ngomel-ngomel. tentang structure. tentang logika yang gak nyambung. tentang bahasa inggris yang membingungkan. tapi biarlah. tugas dia memang ngomel-ngomel. kalau hasil kerjaanku mulus dan sempurna, dia bakalan gak ada kerjaan.
saya sudah dijadwal ujian tesis atau kolokium tgl 31 agustus 2009 jam 12.00. saya yakin. pada saatnya saya akan merdeka dari penjajahan belanda.
